A tribute to contemporary design and essential calm.
house 23.21 was born from a conversation between friends.
The common thread throughout the project is the wood-effect flooring, which runs seamlessly through every room — including the kitchen and bathroom. The white walls enhance its warmth, making it the most welcoming home. The focus and visual interest come from the furnishings: the blue chairs, the smoked glass display cabinets with backlighting, and the gold-finished chandelier above the wooden dining table.
The only creative liberty was taken in the bedroom, where both the walls and ceiling are painted in a soft pastel green, creating a setting for the floral wallpaper applied to just one corner of the room. The kitchen is spacious, featuring a large island and a window positioned behind the sink, just as requested. The barstools face the same window.
Lighting in the home was entrusted to track spotlights, chosen for their flexibility and brightness, allowing for easy customization and better control. There are two bathrooms, each featuring a bathtub and distinct wall styles that give them their own character.
