In search of formal simplicity, House 19.21 demonstrates how even a white wall doesn’t have to be just a simple backdrop.

The plaster moldings that embrace the walls challenge symmetry, breaking it wherever possible, turning at every corner, and taking over spaces not always meant for them. All this under the watchful eyes of wall lights, inviting visitors to continue and see where it all ends.

The glossy Carrara marble-effect tiles reflect the light, unifying the space, which appears immaculate and frozen in time. The furnishings do not seek to stand out, blending in and subtly defining the open space areas—except for the table, two meters and seventy centimeters long, a piece dedicated to socializing and entertaining guests.

The kitchen communicates with the space but claims its own area through sliding doors that can isolate it when needed.
