The need for a staircase to a future second floor shaped the design from day one, leading to an unconventional solution: a seamlessly integrated stair system, with access to the second flight discreetly hidden from the living area.
Every centimeter was put to good use — the under-stair void became a highly practical space for the night area. With the layout resolved, we shifted focus to fulfilling the client’s dream: a central island with cooktop and stools facing the garden, directly connected to the living room.
The TV unit’s top subtly echoes the timber of the ceiling beams, adding warmth and comfort while preserving a contemporary character.
